학령기 남아의 하반신 체형 분석 -치수표기에 따른 키 구간을 중심으로-

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the lower body types of school-age boys based on the size marking of boys’ clothes by Korean Agency for Technology and Standards and provide foundational data to establish the size and design clothes for the children’s clothing market. The study method was statistically analyzed by selecting items related to the lower body of the 3D measurement values for 556 boys aged 7 to 13 who were 110 to 159.9 centimeters tall in the 6th Size Korea Survey. Factor analysis was done to extract the body type factors of the lower body, cluster analysis was performed to categorize the types of the lower body, and cross-analysis was conducted to compare the frequency of each height section according to types. The analysis results can be summarized as follows. 1) According to the results of analyzing the averages of measured body items in each height section, the items of the horizontal size did not increase proportionally to the height increased. 2) Through factor analysis, this study extracted a total of four factors: Factor 1–‘The horizontal size of the lower body and the degree of obesity’, Factor 2–‘The vertical size of the lower body, Factor 3–‘The cross-sectional shape from waist to hip’, and Factor 4–‘The degree of flexion from waist to hip’. and the total explanatory variable was 90.07%. 3) According to the results of conducting cluster analysis with four extracted factors as independent variables, this study classified total three types: Type 1(36.33%) –‘The ordinary type that is small and curvy, Type 2(45.32%) –‘The thin type that is tall and oval in the cross-section’, and Type 3(18.35%) –‘The chubby type that is less curvy and round in the cross-section’. 4) According to the results of examining the distribution of types according to height sections, the section of 110 to 120 centimeters includes high numbers of Type 1, and the section of 130 to 150 centimeters includes many of Type 2. 5) To sum up the results, the characteristics of body types differ according to height sections, and this implies that various sizes should come out according to the characteristics.
