Abstract
The purpose of this research is to examine the effect of CSR participation using arts education in the cognitive, emotional, and behavioral domains. Specifically, this research identified the changes of subjective knowledge, attitude, image, world-of-mouth behavior toward the corporation before and after participating in CSR program using art education. Also, program involvement was considered as the moderating variable in the relationships between participation in arts education program and subjective knowledge, corporate attitude, image, and world-of-mouth behavior. Findings of the research showed that participation in arts education program in CSR perspective affects corporate perceptions positively. There was no significant difference in subjective knowledge about the corporation before and after one year of participation, but there was a significant difference between the first year and second year. In addition, corporate attitude, image, and word of mouth behavior demonstrated a significant improvement in the first year than before, but this level remained at a level that was not statistically significant in the second year. Also, the effect of CSR participation using arts education was moderated by participants’ program involvement, showing that the positive effect of participation of arts education on subjective knowledge, attitude, and image toward the corporation was higher in high involvement group than low involvement group.
