会話における「ナンカ」の世代別使用様相 ー仙台地域を中心にー

This paper analyzed the generational difference between high school student, younger generation and the elder generation in using the discourse marker ‘NANKA’, which is used in communication in order to express the speaker’s attenuated attitude. As a result, using rate of ‘NANKA’ was the least for elder generation and a little high for younger generation, and the high school student was intermediate. Younger generation who work hard in society use ‘NANKA’ very often to express their attenuated speech for paying attention to listener so that they do communication smoothly and make friendship with other people. However, high school students, who have to learn this kind of strategy, do not use ‘NANKA’ so much and the using rate was much lower for elder generation who have retired from society.
