방산안보의 개념에 관한 고찰

최근 대한민국 방산물자 수출이 급증하면서 방위산업에 대한 관심이 높아지고있다. ‘방산안보’는 방위산업과 안보의 합성어로서, 방위산업이 국가안보에 가장중요한 요소인 군사력을 직접적으로 뒷받침한다는 점에서 방위산업 관련 중요한연구 분야로 각광받고 있다. 그러나 방산안보라는 용어가 ‘방위산업과 안보’, ‘방위산업의 안보’, ‘안보를 위한 방위산업’, ‘방위산업을 위한 안보’ 등 다양하게해석될 여지가 있음에도 불구하고 아직까지 이에 대한 명확한 정의나 개념이정립되지 않았다. 본 논문은 방산안보라는 용어의 개념을 다양한 관점에서살펴보고, 각 관점별로 관련 연구분야를 점검한다. 마지막으로 방산안보가학문적으로 발전하기 위해 채택해야 할 개념에 대해 고찰해 본다.
Abstract
The recent surge in defense exports has generated greater interest in the defense industry. As a result, the field of ‘defense industrial security’, which is a combination of defense industry and security, has been identified as an important area of research. This is due to the fact that the defense industry directly supports military power, which is the most critical factor for national security. However, the term ‘defense industrial security’ is subject to various interpretations, such as ‘defense industry and security’, ‘security of defense industry’, ‘defense industry for security’, and ‘security for defense industry’. Despite this, a clear definition or concept has not been established. This paper aims to examine the concept of defense industrial security from different perspectives and explore related research issues from each perspective. In conclusion, this paper discusses the concept that should be adopted for the academic development of defense industrial security.
