高校韩语教学中应用线上学习模式的探索与实践 -以中国江苏省T大学的事例为中心-

Abstract

The global spread of COVID-19 has changed many circumstances in all social areas such as politics, economy, and culture. COVID-19 also significantly affected educational systems in universities over the world. As the COVID-19 incident continued, universities were required to postpone the semesters, or close schools. China could not have been an exception. In this situation, Korean language classes had no choice but to use online methods such as video classes. In this paper, we review the online Korean language classes held at T University, Jiangsu province in China, to enhance quality of the educational system for the Korean language in Jiangsu province. In this paper, as an example of Korean language classes opened at Natong University in Jiangsu province, China, online Korean language classes at Jiangshong University in China were reviewed. As a result of the survey, we find advantages of the online lectures for learning Korean language. Thanks to the online learning, students can access not only Korean language but also Korean culture from various angles. Also, the online learning is useful for improving students' listening skills as compared to traditional in-person classes. On the other hand, students are not sufficiently supervised or monitored in person, so that the efficiency of the learning strongly depends on attitude of students. In this paper, we examine advantages and limitations of online classes and suggest some improvement measures. In order to substantially improve online Korean learning, it is necessary to seek for improvement measures continuously in future classes.
