히틀러 세계관의 비판적 연구- 나의투쟁에 나타난 종교관을 중심으로

Abstract

This paper analyzes Hitler’s worldview. In his worldview, there is an important relationship with religion. So his beliefs such as his historical thought, national ideology, anti-Semitism, religious Aryan racism, and his political point of view are analyzed in this thesis. In this article, the reference material is limited to Hitler’s Mein Kampf. According to Hitler, historical power essentially means “struggle for power in humans,” especially struggle for survival and struggle for living space (Lebensraum). He regards a nation and a race as the central issue of worldview, and his view of history is the struggle of national existence. The essential character of Hitler’s worldview may have religious features. A worldview with a religious emphasis may be called a political religion. According to him, the Aryan is the highest image of God (das hoechste Ebenbild des Herrn), to the contrary of this, the Jew is the image of Satan. So Jewish people have even been described as the enemy of the human race, like devils that stand against the Christian as anti-Christs. Therefore, the Jew as the image of Satan and the Aryan as the image of God cannot help but become hostile. According to Hitler, the Human Fall occurred because of punishment against the natural law and the divine will. It is important, that Hitler matched the race issue with God. Hitler considered the pursuit of blood purity to be a mission to the German nation which the Creator, Himself, authorized. So inevitably, he thought blood purity and racial purity could be realized. The worldview of Hitler included a political point of view. He did not merely regard himself as a politician, but also as a prophet. It is rare in history that one person plays both roles; however, he convinced himself that he was that exception.
