담임목사 리더십 계승의 성경적 방법 연구

성경은 차세대 리더의 발굴 그리고 리더십 개발과 계승에 대해 적합한 교훈과 지침들을 제공하고 있다. 교회가 직면한 선교 상황은 그 어느 때 보다도 복잡하다. 이러한 상황을 고려하여 필자는 담임목사 리더십의 성공적 목회 계승을 위해 다음과 같은 방법을 제시했다. 첫째, 교회 내의 리더십 개발 문화를 활성화시켜야 한다. 교회세습 문제를 언급할 때 무엇보다 중요한 것은 담임목사 리더십이 친족에게 세습된 것이 성경적이다 혹은 성경적이지 않다는 것이 논쟁의 핵심이 되어서는 안된다. 문제는 과연 새로운 리더가 누가 되었든지 성경이 제시한 절차에 의해 차세대 리더로 선발되었고, 발굴된 인물이 리더십 개발 훈련과 계승 절차를 통해 교회 구성원의 지지를 받는 영적 리더로 세워졌는가 하는 것이다. 둘째, 차세대 리더십 개발이다. 담임목사 리더십 계승 문제를 언급할 때 문제가 되는 부분은 교회 내에 인재가 없는 것이 아니라 인재 발굴과 개발에 대한 전략이 없다는 것이다. 성숙한 리더십 문화는 조직 구성원이 자기 리더십을 개발하도록 배려하고, 공정한 절차를 거쳐야 한다. 이러한 과정을 거처야만 조직을 이끌어 갈 유능한 리더가 배출된다. 셋째, 적절한 위임이 시행되어야 한다. 리더십 계승을 진행하기 위해서는 반드시 위임이 필요하다. 리더십 계승을 위한 위임의 시행은 복음의 연속성과 교회 조직의 성장을 증가시키는 효과적인 방법이다. 따라서 영적 리더는 교회의 성장과 발전을 위해 위임을 적극 시행하고 리더십 계승에 성경적인 원리들이 시행될 수 있도록 노력해야 한다.
Abstract
The Bible provides us with the appropriate lessons of leadership succession and the guidelines to find emerging leaders and leadership development, the role of spiritual leader. The Korean church faced the situation is more complex missions than ever before. I presented three methods for successful leadership succession. First, it is to elect home grown leader. One day it is fantasy to expect the great leader will emerge suddenly. I pointed out that the two extreme views that oppose the current church problems which transmit to the son of pastor. It must be modified to rationalize of church succession or to protest unconditionally of it. Above all, it should not be the core of the debate that church succession is a biblical or not. The problem is indeed a new leader who was selected by biblical procedure and developing training, finally he was recognized as a leader who have vision and personality. Second, it is the development of the emerging leader. The problem isn't there is no human in the church but there is no strategy for discovering and developing the emerging leader. Without training the core of leadership and sacrificing for finding the emerging leader, we never expect church growth and development. We should consider all members of organization to develop self-leadership. This is a mature culture of leadership. Throughout this process, we can build the members of organization as a competent leader. Third, it is the proper enforcement of leadership succession. The essential process in order to achieve a leadership succession is commission. The leader who is the exclusive leadership is folly depreciation of his achievements himself and it show obviously the non-biblical attitude. The implementation of commission for leadership succession is an effective way to increase the growth of church organization and continuity of gospel. Therefore, the leader do his best the commission will consequently implement for the growth and development of the church. This is the biblical principles in leadership succession.
