This paper investigated the policy of Korean Language Education(KLE) for creative cultural generation, who would be essentially diversity and creativity. KLE policy should be needed to change for the qualitative development. After contrasting U.S. and Korean education policy, a few KLE policies were suggested. The U.S. and Korea is headed for different policy. Though the U.S. reinforces the Federal Government role and curriculum standards, However, Korea increase the role of local government in deciding the curriculum which related the local self governing system. It is needed to decrease the central government role and increase the local government role in deciding the KLE curriculum. Curriculum sequence should focused on Big Idea not traditional KLE domains. Critical literacy and creative literacy should be included in High school. Textbook adoption system should be introduced in Secondary education. Essay test should be introduced large scale assessments.
