The purpose of this study is to explore methods that can extend the critical thinking of secondary school students by presenting the Korean education contents, using three steps of critical discourse analysis by Fairclough, suitable for Korean education. In this research, we presented the five steps of training content that can be utilized in Korean education by looking at the characteristics of CDA’ three stages by Fairclough. Then we developed questions for each step and introduced questions about the contents and how to use. In case of actively introducing this methodology in Korean teaching, Learners’ critical thinking ability would be better by awaring of the language in the text critically and analyzing social relationships. Moreover, through the writing of the journal after learners analyzed the text utilizing CDA, they will extend the critical thinking skills by connecting the result of their experience, imagination, intuition, etc.
