국제문화유산 교육프로그램 개발 방안 연구 - ‘문화유산활용’교육콘텐츠 적용을 중심으로 -

국제문화유산교육은 교육콘텐츠로써 문화유산의 범위를 특정 국가의 소산이 아니라 인류공동유산으로 접근하여, 선진사례를 통해 문화유산 보호 및 관리 체계를 상호보완하고, 문화다양성과 인류 보편적 가치의 시각에서 인류가 공동으로 문화유산을 보호 및 관리하는 것을 교육목표로 한다. 본 연구에서는 국내외 문화유산관리자를 대상으로 하는 국제문화유산 교육프로그램의 개발 방안을 제안하고자 하였다. 국제문화유산 교육프로그램에 대한 지속가능한 방향을 모색하기 위해 문화유산관련 국제기구와 국내외 고등교육기관에서 운영되었던 국제교육프로그램을 대상으로 교육주제, 교육대상자, 교육콘텐츠를 분석하였다. 그 결과, 정밀한 교육모듈 구축과 지속가능한 교육콘텐츠 개발, 새로운 교육방법의 적용, 교육생 네트워크관리 등이 지속가능한 국제문화유산교육의 조건으로 분석되었다. 구체적인 교육프로그램 개발에 앞서 교육과정의 구성요소인 교육목표, 교육내용, 교수학습 환경, 교육평가를 중심으로 국제문화유산교육의 가이드라인을 설정하였고, 가이드라인의 교육내용에 “문화유산활용” 교육콘텐츠를 하나의 사례로 적용하여 교육목표 설정, 교육모듈 작성, 교육프로그램 평가항목을 작성하여 국제문화유산교육프로그램을 제안하였다. 본 연구는 한국의 “문화유산활용사업”을 하나의 교육콘텐츠로 적용하여 국제문화유산의 체계적인 교육모듈과 평가항목의 작성방안, 교육생 네트워크 관리방안 등 새로운 교육방법론을 제안하였다는데 의의를 가진다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to propose an international cultural heritage course for domestic and foreign cultural heritage managers. To suggest a sustainable system for international cultural heritage education, we analyzed the educational topics, subjects, and educational contents of international cultural heritage programs currently operated by international organizations and educational institutions. As a result, the establishment of precise educational modules, development of sustainable educational contents, application of new educational methods, and network management of trainees were analyzed as conditions for sustainable international cultural heritage education. Before developing a specific educational program, guidelines for international cultural heritage education were established focusing on educational goals, educational contents, teaching and learning environment, and educational evaluation, which are four components of a curriculum. By applying “cultural heritage utilization” as the educational contents of the guidelines, we proposed an international cultural heritage education program by setting educational goals, planning educational modules, and evaluation items conducted based on the UNESCO Competence Framework for Cultural Heritage Management.
