한민족디아스포라문학의 이중적 정체성과 한류의 역할론

한민족디아스포라 문학은 ‘적응과 극복’의 명제를 생래적인 과제로 안고 있다. 현지의 메이저 문학에 적응하면서 동시에 메이저 문학의 한계를 충격하고 이를 스스로 극복하는 것이 한민족디아스포라문학의 마이너리티로서의 궁극적인 지향성이다. 그렇다면, 한민족디아스포라문학의 현지의 메이저 문학에 대한 충격과 극복의 과제는 어떻게 가능할 것인가? 이러한 물음 앞에 한민족의 문화 예술적 상상력에 대한 적극적인 추구를 통해 현지 메이저문학에 대한 극복의 출구를 찾아볼 수는 없을까?한류는 이러한 문맥에서 매우 중요한 의미와 가치를 지닌다. 한류의 문화 예술적 의미와 가치를 통한 한민족동포문학의 현지 문학에 대한 충격과 극복을 모색해 볼 수 있기 때문이다. 한류의 궁극적인 지향성은 동아시아 중심의 또 다른 패권주의가 아니라 한국과 동아시아 각국의 문화부흥은 물론 서구의 문화까지도 선도하고 추동하여 발전시켜 나가는 창조적 보편의 문화 창출을 지향하는 데 있기 때문이다. 이러한 점은 또한 한민족디아스포라문학의 이중적 정체성과도 직접 관련된다. 해외한인디아스포라문학은 현지의 문학이면서 동시에 한민족 문학으로서의 이중적 속성을 지닌다. 이러한 이중적 경계 지점의 포용적 통합의 가능성은 한민족디아스포라문학의 고유한 특성이며 잠재적 가능성의 토양이기도 하다. 다시 말해, 한민족디아스포라문학은 한류의 자산과 미적 가치를 적극적으로 받아들이면서 동시에 현지의 메이저문학의 가치를 동시적으로 추구하기에 용이한 거점에 있다는 것이다. 이러한 문제의식 속에 재일본디아스포라문학, 중국조선족디아스포라문학, 미주디아스포라문학 등의 서로 다른 특성을 살펴보고 한류의 접목 가능성을 모색해 보았다. 이들 한민족디아스포라문학의 바람직한 방향성에 대한 논의는 앞으로 한류가 지향해야할 문화세계창조의 철학적, 미학적 의미와 가치를 확산하는 전위로서의 가능성과 연관된다. 또한 한민족 디아스포라 문학의 미래지향적인 지향성과 한류의 문화적 가치의 확산을 접목하는 이러한 작업은 궁극적으로 21세기 인류사회의 공존공영을 위한 대안문화 창출의 모색으로서 의미를 지닌다.
Abstract
Korean diaspora literature has the proposition of adaption and subjugation as natural assignments. The ultimate directivity for Korean diaspora literature is to adapt to local major literature and overcome the limitation of it as the minority of Korean diaspora literature. So, how is it possible to solve the assignment about the impact and subjugation for local major literature of Korean diaspora literature? Isn’t it possible to find the exit for the subjugation against local mainstream through positive pursuit for Korean cultural and artistic imagination in front of this question?Hallyu has an important meaning and value in this context. Because you can find the impact and subjugation against local mainstream of Korean literature through cultural and artistic meaning and value for Hallyu. Because the ultimate directivity for Hallyu is not East Asia centered-hegemonism but renaissance in literature of Korea and every country in East Asia as well as it aims to create the culture for creative commonality with leading, inspiring and developing western culture. This is directly related to the double identity of abroad Korean diaspora literature. Abroad Korean diaspora literature has double attributes as Korean literature and local one as well. The possibility which combines this double boundary points is the intrinsic character of abroad Korean diaspora literature and the base of its potential possibility. In other words, abroad Korean diaspora literature positively accepts the assets of Hallyu and its aesthetic value as well as it is located in easy foothold to seek the value for local mainstream. We have found the possibility to engraft Hallyu and studied different characters of Korean-Japanese, Korean-Chinese, Korean-American an literature with this critical mind. This discussion for the desirable directivity of Korean diaspora literature is related to the possibility to spread philosophical and aesthetic meaning and value of creating civilized world which Hallyu is suppose to aim for in the future. And this work which engrafts to spread future-oriented directivity and cultural value of Hallyu has the meaning for ultimately seeking alterative culture to coexistence and coprosperity in the global cooperation society of the 21st century.
