한일 대학생 교류 프로그램의 교육적 효과에 관한 일고찰 ― 활동 보고서 분석을 중심으로 ―

본 연구에서는 한국 S대에서 2024년에 실시한 한일 대학생 국제교류 프로그램을 소개하고, 프로그램 종료 후 한일 학생들이 각 주관 기관에 제출한 활동 보고서 내용을 분석하였다. 분석 방법은 통계 프로그램 R을 활용하여, 활동 보고서 내용에 출현하는 빈도수가 높은 단어의 특징을 살펴보는 것과 활동 보고서 내용을 분석하는 것이었다. 분석 결과, 한일 학생들은 본 프로그램을 통해, <한일 문화의 차이점 인식 및 이해>, <자국문화에 대한 재인식>, <한일 언어학습에 대한 동기부여>, <일본어 능력 향상>등의 성과가 있었음을 알 수 있었다. 또한, <협업능력>,<융통성>등 사회생활에 필요한 역량 함양 등 인간적 성장을 이룬 것도 알 수 있었다. 또, 본고에서는 분석 결과를 바탕으로 한일 대학생 교류 프로그램의 교육적 효과에 대해서도 생각해 보았다. 한일 대학생들은 이번 교류를 통해, 다른 나라의 문화와 언어를 이해하는 <이문화커뮤니케이션능력>뿐만 아니라, <문제해결 능력>, <협업 능력>, <융통성>, <디지털 리터러시> 등의 역량도 강화되었을 것으로 생각된다.
Abstract
This study examines the foreign exchange program conducted by ’S’ University in 2024 among Korean and Japanese students and analyzes the activity reports submitted by participants to their respective organizations upon completing the program. The statistical program R was used to analyze the reports, focusing on high-frequency word patterns and thematic content. Analysis confirmed that both Korean and Japanese students experienced several key educational benefits: enhanced recognition and understanding of cultural differences between Korea and Japan, a renewed awareness of their own culture, increased motivation to learn Korean and Japanese language, and improvements in Japanese language proficiency. Furthermore, students demonstrated personal growth by developing essential social skills, including collaboration and adaptability. This study also explores the educational impact of the university’s exchange program. Through this exchange, Korean and Japanese students are believed to have strengthened their intercultural communication skills, deepened their understanding of different cultures and languages, and improved their problem-solving abilities, collaboration, flexibility, and digital literacy.
