시각장애 유아의 상황 중심 안전 교육 프로그램 효과에 관한 연구

본 연구는 상황 중심 안전 교육 프로그램이 시각장애 유아의 안전 행동 변화에 미치는 효과를 알아보기 위해 시각장애 유아가 일상생활 속에서 빈번하게 경험할 수 있는 안전관련 내용들을 상황 중심별로 구안한 “상황 중심 안전 교육 프로그램”을 적용한 후 안전 행동이 어떻게 변화되는지 알아봄으로서 시각장애 유아 안전 교육의 효과를 높일 수 있는 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 본 연구에서 안전 행동 변화를 알아보기 위해 사용한 검사 도구는 비안전 행동 검사와 학부모 심층 면담이었다. 비안전 행동 검사는 4가지 안전 영역인 놀이 안전, 버스 안전, 계단 안전, 화재 안전 영역에서 각 영역의 대표적인 상황을 한 가지씩 설정하여 놀이와 관련된 행동의 문항으로 구성하였다. 안전 관련 행동을 분석하기 위한 비안전 행동 검사는 각 문항에 대해 5점 척도로 교사가 관찰하여 측정하도록 구성하였다. 또한 연구자는 상황별 안전 행동의 변화를 알기 위해 연구 대상자의 부모를 심층 면담하였다. 연구결과 시각장애유아들이 일상생활 속에서 쉽게 경험할 수 있는 안전사고에 대한 위험 상황을 상황 중심의 프로그램을 구안 적용하였을 때 장애유아 모두의 안전행동이 긍정적인 방향으로 변화되었다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이와 같은 연구 결과는 시각장애유아 안전교육이 안전에 대한 지식 획득에 그치지 않고 시각장애 유아의 일상생활 속에서의 행동의 변화를 유도 하였고 또한 시각장애 유아 안전 행동을 습관화하는데 도움을 줄 수 있게 되었다는 것에서 그 의의를 찾을 수 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the change of safety behavior of early childhood with visual impairment according to the "situation center safety instruction program". For this purpose, specific research questions were set : Are there any changes in safety behavior change according to the "situation center safety instruction program"? To prove the effects of the program, pretest-posttest was applied. Also the interview with parents are applied. The results of the study were as follows : there were much changes between pre-program and post program. Theses results show that the "situation center safety instruction program" increases safety behaviors. This result showed that this intervention had positive effects on the development of safety behavior.
