본 연구는 시각장애인의 취업 상태의 변화에 따른 잠재계층을 분류하고 그에 대한 영향요인을 탐색하는 데 있다. 분석에는 장애인고용패널조사 1-6차년도 자료가 사용되었다. 분석방법은 준모수적 집단 중심 접근방법(semi-parametric group based approach)을 적용하고 잠재계층 추정모형은 로짓모형을 사용하였다. 시각장애인의 취업상태 변화 형태에 따라 4개의 잠재계층이 도출되었으며 이들은 비경제활동 집단, 취업 가능성이 낮은 집단, 취업확률이 떨어지는 집단, 취업유지 집단으로 구분되었다. 영향요인 분석결과, 성별, 나이, 장애등급, 건강상태, 배우자유무, 고용서비스, 가구원수, 가구소득, 기초생활보장수급여부가 잠재계층 분류에 영향이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 분석결과를 바탕으로 시각장애인의 취업 개선을 위한 정책적 시사점을 제시하였다.
Abstract
This study is aimed to identify latent classes which are based the change patterns of employment status of people with visual impairments and to test the effects of independent variables(gender, age, disability density, disability status, spouse, education, license, employment service, number of household members, income of househol, livelihood protection) on determining latents classes. The disabled panel(1-6 round) data established by Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled(KEAD) was used for analyzing. Nagin's(1999) semi-parametric group based approach was applied and because dependant variable has dichotomous scale, logit model was used for estimating latent classes. The results identified four latent classes, which could be defined based on the patterns as follows; economically inactive group, group with low possibility of employment, group with low probability of employment, employment maintenance group. The effects of the independent variables on the latent classes was tested by multinomial logit analysis. The results showed that gender, age, disability degree, health condition, spouse, employment service, number of household members, household income, livelihood protection were significant determinants of the latent classes. Finally, the implications based on analysis results were suggested.
