1회용 컵 재활용 촉진을 위한 적정 보증금 추정에 관한 연구: 조건부가치추정법에 의한 지불의사액 추정을 중심으로

본 연구는 시행을 앞둔 1회용 컵 보증금제에서 사용되는 보증금액 추정방법에 관해서 다룬다. 본 연구가 사용한 방법은 조건부가치추정법으로, 이중양분선택형 설문을 통해 지불의사액을 조사하여 보증금액을 추정하였다. 로지스틱 회귀분석을 통해 구한 회귀계수와 변수의 평균값을 곱한 값을 비선형결합하여 구한 적정 보증금액은 대략 350원 정도로 추정할 수 있었다. 아울러, 분석결과는 다양한 기준에 따라 구분된 집단별(성별, 연령대별, 제도인식 수준별)로 지불의사액에 있어 차이를 보여준다. 본 연구는 분석결과를 토대로 1회용 컵 반환행태에 관한 시사점도 제시한다.
Abstract
This study deals with the method of estimating the deposit amount used in the Deposit System of Disposable Cups that is about to be implemented. The study used the contingent valuation method, which focused on the willingness-to-pay estimation with double-bounded dichotomous choice questionnaires. By nonlinearly combining the values obtained by multiplying the regression coefficient obtained through a logistic regression and the average of each variable, the study estimated the appropriate deposit amount to be approximately KRW 350. In addition, the results showed differences in the willingness-to-pay amount for each group classified according to various criteria―gender, age, and system recognition level. Based on the results, this study also suggested implications for the behavior of returning disposable cups.
