Abstract

The article reviews the actual issues of Korean studies that are not fully researched in socio-political sciences. The more detailed history of Korean population education in Kazakhstan is carefully studied. A specific attention is paid to the problems of literacy of the Kazakhstani Koreans before migration to Kazakhstan. The problems of the continuous education of the Koreans in Kazakhstan are considered. It is noticed that the Korean population of Kazakhstan takes one of the leading positions in our state per thousand of people in higher education and academic degrees, as well as the fact of their talents is also mentioned. The article demonstrates how the Koreans of Kazakhstan have become fully literate and how actively the Korean intelligence participates in the country’s socio-political life. Accordingly, its role and contribution to the Kazakhstani culture is studied. The given publication considers the condition and perspectives of the educational level of the Kazakhstani Koreans in contemporary stage. A particular attention to the development of evening and Sunday Korean schools, teaching of the Korean language in Kazakhstan and the opening of the Korean department in the higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan is also paid. All these and other issues of the Kazakhstani Koreans education system require further deepening studies.
