쓰기에서 독자 고려의 의미

초록

지금까지 우리의 작문 교육에서는 ‘독자’에 대하여 매우 고정적인 존재로 보아왔다. 독자는 필자에 의해 분석이 가능한 존재였다. 그런데 실제 쓰기에서는 분석하기 힘든 다양한 독자들을 접하게 된다. 즉 쓰기에서 독자는 고정적인 존재가 아니라, 맥락에 따라 변화가 가능한 존재라는 것이다. 이 연구는 독자의 개념이 이렇게 확장되면서 독자를 고려한다는 것의 의미는 어떻게 변화했는지에 대하여 살펴보았다. 쓰기에서 독자를 고려한다는 것은 독자의 배경을 분석하는 것부터 주제와 관련하여 독자의 의견과 태도를 분석하는 것, 쓰기의 사회적 맥락과 관습을 분석하는 것, 독자와 필자의 관계를 분석하고 필요에 따라 적절히 상정하는 것 등을 포함하는 매우 넓은 의미를 나타낸다. 이 연구에서는 쓰기에서 독자 고려가 쓰기의 성공을 좌우하는 매우 중요한 요인임을 드러낼 것이다.

Abstract

So far, we have regarded ‘the reader’ as a fixed existence in field of writing education. The reader have been a existence that can be analyzed by writer. But we always meet various readers in the process of real writing. So to speak, the reader is a changeable and pluralistic concept that is affected the context. So I would like to suggest the term of ‘audience’ that is involving the reader. This study investigated changing of the meaning of considering the audience according to that of the reader. This study was focused on the audience who was constructed by the writer. The audience is not a simple object but the complex concept. This study was intended for searching approaches according to various perspectives about the audience. Considering the audience include ‘reader analysis’ that means the reader's knowledge, attitude, need, and environment. But that is not whole aspect rather a part. Actually, considering the audience is related to the custom surround the reader and the relation between the reader and the writer. Finally, I can conclude that considering the audience is a very important factor that can make a good writer. So we have to consider various aspects of audience that is constructed by writer in field of writing education.
