여자 청소년의 사이버불링 피해 경험과 자살생각의 관계에서 자기통제력과 부모-자녀 의사소통의 조절효과

초록

본 연구는 여자청소년의 사이버불링 피해 경험과 자살생각의 관계에서 자기통제력, 부모-자녀 의사소통의 조절효과를 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 검증하기 위해 경기, 인천, 강원, 전라 지역의 사이버불링 피해 경험이 있는 것으로 응답한 중·고등학교 여자 청소년 300명의 자료를 바탕으로 상관관계분석과 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 여자 청소년의 사이버불링 피해 경험은 자살생각과 유의미한 상관을 보인 반면, 자기통제력과는 부적 상관을 나타내었고 부모-자녀 의사소통 간에는 유의미한 상관관계가 나타나지 않았다. 즉 사이버불링 피해가 높을수록 자살생각은 높고 자기통제력과 부모-자녀 의사소통은 낮으며, 자기통제력과 부모-자녀 의사소통이 높을수록 자살생각은 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 사이버불링 피해 경험과 여자 청소년의 자살생각 간의 관계에서 자기통제력과 부모-자녀 의사소통의 조절효과가 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 자기통제력과 부모-자녀 의사소통이 높을수록 사이버불링 피해경험이 자살생각에 미치는 영향은 낮아졌다.  본 연구는 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 청소년들의 사이버불링 피해를 감소시키고 사이버불링 피해 경험이 자살생각으로 이어지는 과정에서 자기통제력의 향상과 부모-자녀 의사소통에 대한 상담 개입을 위한시사점을 논의하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to verify the moderating effects of self-control and parent-child communication in the relationship between cyberbullying victimization experience and suicidal ideation. To verify this, correlation analysis and hierarchical regression analysis were conducted on 300 middle and high school students who responded that they had experienced cyberbullying damage in Gyeonggi, Incheon, Gangwon and Jeolla areas. The results are as follows. First, the cyberbullying victimization experience of female adolescents showed a significant correlation with suicidal ideation, but it showed a negative correlation with self-control and did not show a significant correlation with parent-child communication. Second, the moderating effect of self-control and parent-child communication was significant in the relationship between cyberbullying victimization experience and female adolescents' suicidal ideation. Based on these results, this study discussed the implications and the intervention of counseling.
