본 연구는 산업생산활동과 산업기술인력 수급 현황 간의 관계를 실증분석하고, 산업기술인력 수급 체계화를 위한 산업인력정책 시사점 도출을 목적으로 한다. 실증분석의 주요 결과에 따르면, 우리나라 산업기술인력 수급 불균형은 전반적으로 개선됐으나, 석․박사 이상의 산업기술인력 수급 불균형은 확대되었다. 그리고 기업성과 및 경쟁력 향상을 목적으로 한 투자와 같은 산업생산활동(유형자산, 사업체수, 생산액) 증가는 산업기술인력 수급 불균형(부족률, 예상채용률, 부족인원)을 확대하고, 이러한 불균형은 석․박사 이상에서 두드러지게 나타났다. 이상의 분석결과를 바탕으로 본 연구는 산업 내 기업 투자와 같은 생산활동 변화의 시점과 장소를고려한 산업기술인력 수급 체계화 필요성을 제기한다.
Abstract
This paper empirically analyzes the relationship between industrial production activities and the supply and demand of industrial technical labor to derive implications for systematized industrial labor training policy. The main results of the empirical analysis suggest that overall, the supply and demand of technical industrial labor in Korea is less imbalanced than it once was. However, they also suggest that the imbalanced supply and demand of industrial technical labor with postgraduate degrees has actually worsened. In addition, increases in industrial production activities such as investment in improved corporate performance and competitiveness was shown to further exacerbate the imbalance and this was particularly notable in the market for highly-educated technical labor. Based on the above results, this study identifies a need to supply industrial technical labor in response to changes in the corporate investment and production environment.
