생활체육 동호회 내 성차별 인식과 윤리적 쟁점에 관한 연구

본 연구는 생활체육 동호회에서 초보자들이 성별에 따라 경험하는 성차별적 요소의 차이를 분석하고, 성 평등성을 제고하기 위한 윤리적, 운영적 개선 방안을 제안하여 성 평등한 스포츠 환경을 조성하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해, 생활체육 동호회원 14명을 대상으로 심층 면접을 실시하여 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료 처리는 SPSS 25.0을 활용한빈도분석을 실시하였으며, 클로바노트(CLOVA Note)를 이용하여 키워드 추출 분석을 수행하였다. 연구 결과, 동호회가입 및 적응 과정, 경기 운영 방식, 사회적 관계 형성에서 성별 차이가 존재하는 것으로 나타났다. 여성 초보자들은상대적으로 쉽게 적응하고 기존 회원들로부터 배려받는 경향이 있었으나, 경기 운영에서 보조적인 역할을 맡거나 기회가 제한되는 경우가 많았다. 반면, 남성 초보자들은 운영진의 관심을 받기 어려운 구조적 문제를 경험하며, 경기에서 실력 중심의 평가를 받는 경향이 두드러졌다. 또한, 남성 회원들은 체력적 업무를 자연스럽게 담당하는 등 성별에따른 역할 구분이 존재하였다. 생활체육 동호회의 성평등 환경 조성을 위한 개선 방안으로는 신입 회원을 위한 멘토링 프로그램 및 프로필 카드 도입, 실력 기반 자동 매칭 시스템 적용 및 역할 순환제 운영, 성차별적 언행 예방을 위한 언어 모니터링 제도 및 성평등 스포츠 워크숍 시행, 균형 잡힌 경기 참여 보장제 도입과 운영진 성비 균형 유지를제시하였다. 이를 통해 생활체육에 참여하는 모든 회원이 공정한 기회를 누릴 수 있는 스포츠 환경을 구축할 수 있을것이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze gender differences in the experiences of beginners in Sport for All participants' clubs and to propose improvements for fostering a gender-equal sports environment. To achieve this, face-to-face and telephone interviews were conducted with a total of 14 participants (7 beginners and 7 experienced members) between January 15 and early February 2025. Data analysis was performed using frequency analysis with SPSS 25.0 and keyword extraction analysis using CLOVA Note. The results revealed significant gender differences in club membership, adaptation processes, game operation, and social relationship formation. Female beginners tended to adapt more easily and received support from existing members, yet they often assumed secondary roles in games or had limited opportunities to participate. In contrast, male beginners experienced structural difficulties in gaining attention from club organizers and were more likely to b e evaluated solely b ased o n their skill level. I n conclusion, to foster a g ender-equal environment in s port f or a ll c lubs, it is e ssential to implement a mentoring p rogram and p rofile c ard system f or n ew m embers, apply a s kill-based automatic matching system with role rotation, establish a language monitoring system and gender equality sports workshops to prevent discriminatory behavior, and introduce a balanced participation guarantee system while ensuring gender balance in club management. Through these measures, a fair and inclusive sports environment can be created, allowing all members to participate equitably.
