도시시의 일상성과 ‘복수적 서정’의 의미 -김준오의『 도시시와 해체시』를 중심으로-

김준오는 ‘최근 시에서 지배적인 서정이 있는가, 있다면 어떤 종류의 서정인가’와 같은 질문을 던지며 자신만의 서정 지향을 이어왔다. 본격적인 김준오 연구는 그의 비평 담론에 산재한 서정 지향의 흔적을 찾는 것에서부터 시작돼야 한다. 이는 도시시의 일상성과 포스트모더니즘의 징후를 함께 사유했던 김준오의 80년대 비평에서부터 시작될 수 있다. 이 논문은『 도시시와 해체시』를 중심으로 도시시의 일상성 회복에 주목한 김준오의 비평 작업과 새로운 서정의 의의를 검토한다. 도시시가 회복한 일상의 가치는 새로운 서정으로서 김준오가 파악한 80년대의 특질 가운데 하나이다. 김준오가 도시시로부터 새로운 서정을 진단한 이유는 도시시가 일상성을 회복함과 동시에 매몰되어 있던 ‘나’와 그 정서 또한 함께 회복했기 때문이다. 새로운 서정의 출현은 ‘나’의 회복은 물론, 그런 ‘나’의 태도(혹은 반응)로부터 파생된 생활 정서와도 연관된다. 80년대 도시시의 유의미는 ‘나’의 회복과 그런 ‘나’가 세계(현실)를 인식하는 태도(혹은 반응)에 있다. 이는 단일한 ‘나’와 하나의 태도만을 가정하지 않는다. 80년대 도시시가 회복한 일상성은 개인들의 다양한 내면과 자기표현의 가능성을 내재함으로써 다원적이고도 복수적인 성질을 띠게 된다. 무수히 많고 다양한 개인들의 내면과 정서가 ‘복수적 서정(자기표현)’으로써 끊임없이 생성되는 것이다. 도시시는 오늘날까지 현대시 유형의 두드러진 경향으로 자리 잡고 있다. 현대사회에서의 지배적 공간이 ‘도시’여서도 있겠지만, 결국 그 일상성이 개인들의 다양한 내면과 자기표현의 가능성을 담보하고 있기 때문이다. 그렇다면 서정을 시대적 특질에 따라 변화하는 동적 개념으로 전제하여 그 시의성을 검토하는 작업이 필요해진다. ‘복수적 서정’은 그 시작점이다.
Abstract
Kim, Jun-oh’s has continued his own lyric orientation, asking questions such as, “Is there a dominant lyric in recent poetry, or if so, what kind of lyric is it?” Kim, Jun-oh’s full-fledged research should begin by finding traces of lyricism scattered in his critical discourse. This can begin with Kim, Jun-oh's criticism in the 80s, who thought about the everydayness of urban cities and signs of postmodernism together. This paper examines the significance of Kim, Jun-oh's criticism work and new lyricism, which focused on the restoration of the everydayness of urban poem, focusing on『 urban poem and deconstruction poem』. The value of everydayness recovered by the city is one of the characteristics of the 80s identified by Kim, Jun-oh’s as a new Lyricity. The reason why Kim, Jun-oh's diagnosed the new Lyricity from the city is that the city restored its everydayness and at the same time, the buried ‘I’ and its emotions were also restored. The emergence of new Lyricity is related not only to the recovery of ‘I’ but also to the lifestyle sentiment derived from such ‘I’ attitude(or reaction). The significance of urban poem in the 80s lies in the recovery of ‘I’ and the attitude(or reaction) of ‘I’ to recognize the world(reality). This does not assume only a single 'I' and one attitude. The everydayness recovered by the urban poem in the 80s has a pluralistic and pluralistic nature by embedding various inner and self-expression possibilities of individuals. The innermost feelings and emotions of countless and diverse individuals are constantly created by Plural Lyricity(self-expression). Urban poem is still a prominent trend of modern poetry to this day. The dominant space in modern society may be the ‘city’ but in the end, its everydayness guarantees the possibility of various inner and self-expression of individuals. If so, it is necessary to review the timeliness on the premise that Lyricity is a dynamic concept that changes according to the characteristics of the times. ‘Plural Lyricity’ is the starting point.
