본 연구는 부랴트 공화국의 문화시설, 문화정책, 문화정체성을 문화산업적 관점에서 분석하고, 문화시설을 지역 정체성 보존과 경제 활성화를 위한 전략적 플랫폼으로 전환할 필요성을 제시한다. 이를 위해 현재 공화국이 직면한 현대적 인프라의 부족, 디지털 전환의 지연, 다문화 접근성의 미흡 등 주요 문제를 진단하고, 이를 개선하기 위한 구체적인 전략을 고찰하였다. 특히 창조산업 육성 정책과 문화정책의 실행 현황을 분석하고, 다민족적 문화정체성을 문화산업 발전의 핵심 자원으로 활용할 방안을 제안하였다. 이러한 논의는 부랴트 공화국의 문화산업 발전에 실질적인 정책적 시사점을 제공할 뿐만 아니라, 민족정체성과 문화산업의 통합적 발전을 모색하는 다양한 다문화사회에도 유의미한 통찰을 제공한다.
Abstract
This study analyzes the cultural infrastructure, cultural policy, and cultural identity of the Republic of Buryatia from the perspective of the cultural industry, and argues that cultural facilities need to be transformed into strategic platforms for preserving regional identity and promoting economic revitalization. To this end, the study identifies key challenges currently facing the republic—such as the lack of modern infrastructure, delays in digital transformation, and insufficient multicultural accessibility—and explores concrete strategies for addressing them. In particular, it examines the implementation of creative industry development policies and cultural policies, and proposes that Buryatia’s multiethnic cultural identity should be actively utilized as a core resource for cultural industry development. This analysis not only offers practical policy implications for the advancement of Buryatia’s cultural industries but also provides meaningful insights for other multicultural societies seeking to achieve an integrated development of cultural identity and cultural economy.
