네그리와 하트의 다중의 기획에 대한 비판

네그리는 어떠한 종류의 초월성도 넘어서는 내재성의 철학을 구성하여 역사철학 과 단절하려 한다. 내재성의 철학은 그로 하여금 마르크스의 계급투쟁의 문제설정 을 기각하게 한다. 그러나 그의 내재주의는 일관된 것이 되지 못하며, 그것에 기초 를 둔 다중의 기획은 여러 가지 논리적 곤란에 빠지게 된다. 네그리는 부르주아적 주권 개념을 도입하고 푸코의 지배관리체제에 대한 논의와 들뢰즈의 통제사회로의 이행의 도식을 전거로 하여 초월적인 국민국가 주권에서 내재적인 탈근대적 제국주권으로의 주권형태의 이행이라는 테제를 제출한다. 그러 나 이러한 이행 테제는 내재성의 논리를 훼손함으로써만 구성되는 것이며, 푸코, 들뢰즈의 논의는 네그리의 제국으로의 이행테제를 정당화시켜주는 것이 아니라 오 히려 그것을 반박하는 것이다. 네그리의 주권권력으로부터의 탈출의 기획 역시 내 재성의 논리를 훼손하는 것이다. 네그리의 다중의 기획의 개념적 초석인 삶권력 개념, 삶정치적 생산 개념은 노동 개념을 극단적으로 확장함으로써 가공된 것으로 분석력을 거의 갖지 못한다. 네그 리는 현실의 갈등적, 적대적인 사회적 차이들을 부정함으로써 개인성과 공동체의 대립의 지양이라는, 역사적 공산주의들이 대결해 온 과제를 무효화시킨다. 계급투 쟁 내지 사회적 투쟁들의 기획 대신 그가 제시하는 공통적인 것의 구성의 기획은 현실성을 결여한 공상적 기획이다. 사회적 투쟁들을 배제하는 공통적인 것의 기획 은 해방의 정치를 공허한 사랑의 윤리학으로 전락시킨다.
Abstract
Antonio Negri’s Project of the Multitude represents a prominent work to reformulate Marx’s historical materialism and communism on the basis of immanent ontology. But the result is very poor and even dangerous. The main weakness of his project consists in the fact that it disregards Marx’s problematic of the social antagonism and thus it does not provide us a theoretical apparatus enabling us to think an emancipatory politics. Negri presents the project of the exodus as an alternative to the marxian project of the transformation and the deleuzian project of flight. But this eclectic project of the exodus founded on his inconsistent immanentism leads into a utopian ethics of communication and love. Negri escapes from the totalization of class struggle and thus from the philosophy of history by extremely expanding the concept of labor. However the scheme of biopower/biopolitical production constructed on the expanded concept of labor and on the thesis of the hegemony of the immaterial labor degrades into the productivism and substitutes the marxian problematic of the social antagonism with the problematic of social tie characteristic to the dominant ideology.
