발트 삼국의 의사소통 방식에 대한 연구

본 글은 발트지역에서 통용되고 있는 언어적, 비언어적 의사소통 방식에 대한 연구 결과이다. 현재 발트인들의 의사소통방식에 대해 알아보고 어떠한 역사, 사회적 요소가 이들의 의사소통 방식 형성에 영향을 끼쳤는지를 세 나라 의사소통 방식의 공통점과 차이점 비교를 통하여 알아보고자 하였다. 발트 세 나라의 의사소통방식에 공통적으로 나타나는 특징은, 직선적인 반면 상대가 지나치게 적극적인 면을 보인다면 불신을 초래 할 수도 있다는 점이다. 또한 언어표현과 대인 관계에 있어 “거리 두기”가 일반적인 현상인데 이는 이들이 오랜 세월 타민족과 함께 어울려 살아 온 역사, 사회적 특징 속에서 그 원인을 찾아 볼 수 있었다.
Abstract
Understanding communicating methods plays and integral part in comprehension other culture. Edward Hall, who participated in selecting and educating the Americans expected to work abroad particularly emphasizes the importance of the communicating process. He focuses on the instructing languages and culture of designated country after selecting as well as acquirements of dispatching agents. He said it's only wasting time and expenses if done without linguistic and cultural education. This report describes special features in communicating methods of the Baltic states and their historical and cultural background. This article start from the assumption that linguistic and non-linguistic communicating method would be able to find striking factors in historic and social background of the Baltic people. By comparison of commonness and differences of the communicating ways of three countries, I'll examine what factors of the history and society affected on their forming communicational way. For this, research on historical and social characteristics are conducted. Next, I section off a common and different points by adopting specific examples of linguistic and non-linguistic communication method. Finally, I tried general classification of the Baltic culture. general applying systemic types of understanding other culture by Martin Ganon.
