한국 팩션의 서사전략 - 인물 설정과 역사성 확보의 서사전략을 중심으로 -

Abstract

This study focuses on narrative strategies for factions to guarantee the public's preferences - those which lead to great movements in big conflicts or struggles where factions has big political implications like pursuing absolute supreme powers, and those of narrative strategies which make the facts and fictions set in factions seem to be real. First, political opponents share the characters of political ideologists and insidious iscariots at the same time. Therefore they devote themselves at political struggles and make dramatic conflicts through strategies and conspiracies. Second, an autocrat suffers from a destined defect related with the birth of his/her power. As a result, the political conflict becomes to have a tight strain. Third, a faction enlarges the horizon of the audience's perception of history by choosing a shocking historical event. In addition, by clarifying his perception of history, the author raises the historical probability of the event. Fourth, a faction uses a secret thing, which helps a historical event to compensate a fiction. Also, by using a meta-history, the author continuously wraps events in the novel up in historical realities.
