초록
The myth as narrative has ambivalent nature of fantasy and mimesis which are two driving force of literature and art. Therefore myth shows a wide spectrum of the possible worlds in the narrative genre. In the perspective of theory of possible-world, myth offers a useful tools understanding the new narrative genre ; fantasy-narrative and faction. To understand possible worlds in narrative text, we should know the character and relationship of three worlds; the actual world(AW), the textual actual world(TAW), and the textual referential world(TRW). The myth has both a fictional feature and historical(real) feature. The myth is similar to fantasy-narrative in terms of the unrealistic. In other words, the events which took place in text are hard to accept as actual thing in the real world. But all myths have always said the origin of the actual incidents which are considered to be the natural by the numbers of community together. Therefore myth is no longer fiction, but nonfiction. That's what is the common nature of myth and faction. In brief, myth's the relationship of AW and TAW is similar to faction's, but myth's the relationship of AW and TRW is similar to fantasy's.
