심사위원 관점에 따른 저단자 태권도 승·품단 심사평가기준에 관한 연구

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the basis of evaluation for the Taekwondo promotion test and to gain people's trust when proposing the correct standards.This study conducted a survey with judges about the evaluation basis for Taekwondo promotion testing and analyzed the data from 39 judges. Seven data from the judges were unreliable. After all investigation was determined, the 1st poom/dan promotion test was focused on the eyes and body position, which was important for poomsae. For sparring, focus and intention was important. For the 2nd poom/dan promotion test: Balance was important in poomse with diversity of energy and kiap (yelling) being important in sparring. For the 3rd poom/dan promotion test: Determining between strength and weakness in motions, use of power, control and the speed of techniques were important for poomsae, while balance and flexibility were important in sparring. And for the 4th poom/dan promotion test: For poomsae, determining between strength and weakness in motions, use of power, balance, control, the speed of techniques, and body position were important. While focus, intent, balance, kiap, controlling the speed, and flexibility, were important in sparring. The essential techniques a practitioner should practice for the ability to promote up to his or her next poom level and the evaluation standard of promotion testing were proposed in this research.
