초록

[목적] 본 연구는 온･오프라인 태권도 시범대회의 차이점을 탐색하고 온라인 시범대회의 장･단점 분석을 통해 개선방안을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. [방법] 온･오프라인 태권도 시범대회에 모두 참가한 경험이 있는 선수･지도자･심판 등 8인을 대상으로 반 구조화된 심층 면담을 통해 자료를 수집하였으며, 귀납적 범주분석방법을 활용하여 자료분석을 실시하였다. [결과] 첫째, 온･오프라인 시범대회의 차이점은 시간, 장소, 대회 환경, 운영 방식으로 나타났다. 둘째, 온라인 시범대회의 장점은 경기력 유지 기회 제공, 심판 평가환경의 개선, 영상 접수로 나타났다. 셋째, 온라인 시범대회의 단점은 경기 환경의 차이, 선수 능력 평가의 한계, 스포츠 일탈, 선수 안전문제로 나타났다. 넷째, 온라인 시범대회의 개선방안으로는 대회 규칙 및 용어의 통일, 심판 전문성 확보, 온･오프라인의 병행, 방송 기술을 활용한 대회의 질적 향상 등으로 나타났다. [결론] 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 향후 개최될 온라인 시범대회를 지속해서 개선해 나간다면 태권도 시범대회의 질적 향상을 기대 할 수 있을 것이다.

Abstract

[Purpose] This study aims to explore the differences between online and offline Taekwondo demonstration competitions and present improvement measures through analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of online demonstration competitions. [Method] Data were collected through semi-structured in-depth interview with a total 8 players, leaders, and referees who participated in both online and offline competitions, and data analysis was conducted using inductive category analysis methods. [Results] First, the difference between online and offline competitions is time, place, components of competitions, and operation methods. Second, the advantage of online competitions are providing opportunities to maintain performance, improving the judging environment, and receiving videos. Third, disadvantages of online competitions are differences in performance environments, limitations in evaluation athletes’ abilities, sports deviations, and athlete safety issues. Fourth, the improvement of online competitions are the unification of competition rules and terms, securing expertise in referees, parallel online and offline, and improving the quality of competitions using broadcasting technology. [Conclusion] Based on the results of this study, if we continue to improve the online demonstration competition to be held in the future, we expect to improve the quality of the Taekwondo demonstration competition.
