대학 총장기(배) 태권도 시범대회의 문제 탐색 및 발전에 관한 연구

본 연구는 대학 총장기(배) 태권도 시범대회를 통해 나타난 여러 문제점을 토대로 대학 총장기(배) 태권도 시범대회의 개선 및 발전 방안을 모색하여 향후 태권도 시범대회의 발전에 이바지할 수 있는 자료를 제공하는데 필요성과 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 국내의대학 태권도 시범단 및 국기원, 대한태권도협회, 세계태권도연맹의 대표 시범단에서 활동한 경력이 있는 자들 중 최근 2년간 국내 대학 총장기(배) 태권도 대회의 시범부분에 2회 이상 심판으로 위촉된 경력을 갖춘 자들로 연구 참여자를 선정하였다. 이러한 연구 참여자를 대상으로 문헌분석과 3회 이상의 심층면담 등을 실시하여 자료를 수집하였으며 발견된 결과에 대한 요약은다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학 총장기(배) 태권도 대회에서 선수들의 안전에 대한 문제가 제기되었으며 세부적으로는 응급상황에서의 전문성 및 올바른 초동대처 및 선수 보호를 위한 보호매트의필요성과 위험한 격파 기술의 제한이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 대학 총장기(배) 태권도대회에서 경기규정 공고 및 평가방식에 대한 문제가 발견되었으며 세부적으로 경기규정이 공고되는 시점과 시범대회의 채점에 대한 명확성이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 대학 총장기(배) 태권도 대회를 통해 태권도 시범분야의 전문심판과 지도자 교육의 부재로 인한 문제가 발견되었으며 세부적으로 전문적인 심판 위촉 및 체계적인 심판 교육의 필요성과 시범 지도자 교육이필요한 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
Based on the various problems presented through the university taekwondo demonstration competition sponsored by Presidents of Universities, this research has the needs and purposes of the study to find ways to improve and develop it and to provide data to contribute to the development of the future taekwondo demonstration competition. In order to achieve this goal, research participants were selected from those who have served in the national college taekwondo demonstration team, the representative demonstration team of the Korea Taekwondo Association, and the World Taekwondo Federation as those who have been appointed as judges more than twice in the pilot section of the national university's taekwondo competition over the past two years. Data were collected through literature analysis and three or more in-depth interviews, and the results were summarized as follows. First, problems regarding the safety of athletes were raised at the university taekwondo demonstration competition sponsored by Presidents of Universities, and it was found that in detail, professionalism in emergency situations and proper initial treatment were needed, the need for protective mats to protect athletes, and the restriction of dangerous breaking techniques were needed. Second, problems were found in the university taekwondo demonstration competition sponsored by Presidents of Universities about the method of public announcement and evaluation of the competition, and clarity on when the competition rules were announced in detail and the scoring of the demonstration competition is needed. Third, through the university taekwondo demonstration competition sponsored by Presidents of Universities, problems were found regarding the need for professional refereeing and leader education in taekwondo demonstration field, and it was found that professional referee and systematic referee education were needed in detail.
