뉴 팬데믹 상황을 대비한 태권도장 경영 리스크 대응전략 : 코로나19 경험을 바탕으로

목적 본 연구는 앞으로 다가올 새로운 팬데믹 상황에 태권도장의 효과적인 대응 방안과 경영 활성화 방향성이 무엇인지전략적으로 유용한 정보를 제공한다는 측면에 최종 목적이 있다. 방법 이에 본 연구에서는 5인의 전문가에게 2차에 걸쳐 SWOT 분석 및 설문조사를 통하여 의견을 수렴하였으며, 특히 30명의대도시 권역별 현장 전문가인 태권도장 경영자를 통하여 AHP 분석을 실시하였다. 결과 SWOT 분석을 바탕으로 AHP 상위요인 도출 결과 약점, 기회, 위협, 강점요인 순으로 가중치가 높게 나타났으며, 하위요인 대한 중요도 결과 강점요인에서는 태권도 본연의 영역에 집중, 약점요인에서는 수련생 감축으로 재정 건전성 취약, 기회요인에서는 소그룹 형태의 고급화 전략으로 고비용 교육비 정산의 밑거름, 위협요인에서는 정책적으로 실내 체육시설의 제한으로 경영 리스크의 가중치가 높게 나타났다. 결론 팬데믹으로 인한 태권도장의 사회적 가치가 높아짐을 알 수 있듯이 태권도장 본연의 역할이 무엇보다 중요하며, 재정의건전성을 높이기 위해 가족 중심 경영법으로 방향 선회가 필요하고, 고급화･특성화에 맞는 전문성에 치중할 수 있는 역량강화 학습 콘텐츠 환경이 조성되어야 한다. 아울러 팬데믹 시대 태권도장 활성화 대응 전략도출은 우선 수행과제로 SO전략과, 우선 보완과제로 WO전략, 난관 해결과제로 ST전략, 마지막으로 장기보완과제로 WT전략의 필요성을 역설해 본다.
Abstract
Purpose The purpose of this study is to provide business management strategies that help Taekwondo studio owners to effectively respond against a new pandemic and revitalize Taekwondo studios during that period. Method The SWOT analysis and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method were employed in this study. First, SWOT analysis and questionnaire were carried out by 5 experts in the relevant field and based on this analysis, the AHP analysis was conducted by 30 Taekwondo studio owners in 5 major regions throughout the nation. Results The main findings were as follows: first, by comparing the weighted values of each attribute, ‘weakness’ indicated the highest, followed by ‘opportunity’, ‘threat’ and ‘strength’ attributes. Second, by analyzing sub-items of each attribute, whereas ‘focus on training of the mind, body and spirit’ ranked first among the strengths, ‘financial aggravation due to the decrease in number of trainees’ was highest in weaknesses. Also, ‘high profit structure through a premium class strategy’ standed out as the most important opportunity, but threats included ‘business management risk due to restrictions on indoor sport facilities as a government policy’. Conclusion For the financial stability of studio management, it is necessary to turn the management method to a family-centered system and increase capacity and teaching skills of masters by strengthening their expertise and contents for a premium private class strategy. In addition, as effective counter-strategies for revitalizing Taekwondo studios, SO strategies for priority actions, WO strategies for complementary priority measures, ST strategies for solving difficulties, and WT strategies for longterm complementary measures are required.
