목적 본 연구의 목적은 자유연상 단어를 통하여 중국인들이 태권도를 어떠한 시각으로 인식하고 있는지를 분석하고 이를통해 중국인이 인식하는 태권도 이미지를 도출하여 향후 중국 태권도 시장진출과 중국 태권도 발전에 도움이 될 수 있는자료를 제공하자고 하였다. 방법 본 연구의 방법은 중국인을 대상으로 편의표본추출법을 사용하여 연구 참여자 816명에게 배부하였으며, 최종적으로797명의 응답자료를 실제 분석에 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 엑셀에서 전사하고 SPSS 25.0에서 인구통계학적 특성을 알아보았으며, NVivo 12.0을 사용하여 시각화와 범주화를 실시하였다. 결과 연구의 결과, 첫째, 단어 빈도분석 결과, 분석된 단어는 총 192개의 단어로 수집되었고, 수집된 단어의 빈도수는 총2405개로 나타났다. 둘째, 범주화를 실시한 결과, 총 10개의 nord가 제시되었으며, 각 nord를 주제단위로 범주화한 결과symbolic image, positive image, negative image로 범주화되었다. 결론 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 중국의 태권도장 관계자는 중국인이 인지하는 태권도의 긍정적 이미지를 강화하고, 부정적이미지를 약화할 수 있도록 방안을 마련해야 하며, 태권도에 대한 상징적 이미지를 통해 중국에서 태권도의 긍정적 이미지를더욱 강화시킬 수 있도록 노력해야 할 것이다.
Abstract
Purpose The purpose of this study was to analyze how Chinese people perceive Taekwondo through free association words, and to provide data that can be helpful for the development of Taekwondo in China in the future by deriving the image of Taekwondo recognized by Chinese people. Method The response data of 797 study participants were used for the actual analysis by using the convenient sampling method for Chinese subjects. The collected data were transcribed in Excel, and visualization and categorization were performed using SPSS 25.0 and NVivo 12.0. Results As a result of the study, first, as a result of word frequency analysis, the analyzed words were collected as a total of 192 words, and the frequency of the collected words was found to be a total of 2405. Second, as a result of categorization, a total of 10 nords were presented, and as a result of categorizing each nord by subject, they were categorized into symbolic image, positive image, and negative image. Conclusion Based on the results, the Chinese Taekwondo officials should come up with measures to strengthen the positive image of Taekwondo perceived by Chinese people and weaken the negative image. In addition, efforts should be made to further strengthen the positive image of Taekwondo in China through the symbolic image of Taekwondo.
