소설의 영화화 방식에 대한 대비 고찰 -「오발탄」과 「하얀 전쟁」을 중심으로-

Abstract

This Study is due to excavate distinctive quality of genre and peculiarity of media-esthetics between novel and movie through comparative study between [Obaltan; Bullet of Accidental discharge] and [White war] in the course of cinematization. Short story,[Obaltan; Bullet of Accidental discharge] has very limited space so created new personage and magnified plot in the course of cinematization. In movie, I confirmed that Youngho(active character)'s role-weight was bigger than Cheolho(passive character)'s role-weight. Long novel, [White war] planed abstracted image of core-plot with transformed recreation of character in the course of cinematization because movie director tried to control loose story of long novel. I concluded that short story and long novel has different aspect each other in the course of cinematization through comparative study between [Obaltan; Bullet of Accidental discharge] and [White war] in the course of cinematization.
