본 연구는 집단놀이치료 프로그램이 장애아동의 형제자매의 스트레스. 우울, 자아존중감에미치는 효과를 검토하기 위한 것이다. 장애아동을 형제자매로 둔 초등 3~6학년의 아동 26명을 모집하여 13명은 통제집단으로 13명은 대기집단으로 배치한 후, 13명의 실험집단 아동에게 집단놀이치료 프로그램을 실시하였다. 2011년 1월 3일부터 3월 26일까지 총 23회기의 집단놀이치료 프로그램을 실시하였으며, 프로그램 실시 전, 후에 실험, 통제집단 아동에게 스트레스, 우울, 자아존중감 검사를 실시하였다. 연구결과, 집단놀이치료 프로그램은 장애아동을 둔 형제자매의 스트레스와 우울수준을 낮추고 자아존중감을 향상시키는 데 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 향후 장애아동 형제자매의 심리사회적 적응을 돕는 기초자료로 사용될 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
This study aimed to review the effects of a group play therapy program on the stress, depression, and self-esteem level of the children with disabled siblings. The subjects were 26 children with disabled children, third to sixth graders in elementary school, 13 of whom were assigned into the control group and another 13 into the experiment group. From January 3rd, 2011 to March 26th, 2011, 23 sessions of group play therapy were carried. Before and after the program, the subjects were given the tests of their stress, depression, and self-esteem. The results showed the group play therapy program lowered their stress and depression level and enhanced their self-esteem. These results will be able to be used as base data to help the psychosocial adaptation of the children with disabled siblings.
