초록

연구목적: 이 연구의 목적은 인간발달의 행동유전학적 안정성, 심리 사회적 적응 및 성격형성과 밀접한 관련이 있는 성인의 기질을 검사하는 척도를 개발하는 데 있다. 연구방법: 기질이론 관련 국내외 타당화 된 검사문항을 종합하여 발달심리 및 척도개발 전문가의 검수를 통해 9요인 84문항을 개발하였고, 40명 대상 사전조사와 246명 대상 예비연구를 거쳐, 총 8요인 43문항으로 설문구성을 확정하였다. 8요인은 활동성, 적응성, 접근-회피, 반응강도, 정서성, 주의지속성, 규칙성, 감각민감성이다. 본 조사는 전국 20-69세 성인 670명을 대상으로 지필검사 형식으로 실시되었다. 수집된 자료의 분석을 위해 SPSS 25.0과 AMOS 22.0을 사용하여 기술통계분석, 상관관계분석, 탐색적 요인분석, 확인적 요인분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과: 요인구조와 문항타당도를 검증한 결과, 이 연구의 성인기질 검사 척도의 신뢰성과 타당성이 입증되었다. 내적 일관성, 수렴 타당도 및 변별 타당도가 확인되었으며, 기존의 기질 및 성격검사(TCI-RS)와 성인용 행동평가척도(ASR)와의 상관관계 분석을 통해 준거타당도 역시 확인하였다. 결론: 이 연구는 탐색적이고 귀납적인 방법으로 국내성인 표본을 통한 성인기질 요인의 학술적 타당성과 실증적 타당성에 관한 자료를 제시하였다. 이를 토대로 성인기질요인에 대한 후속논의와 더불어 폭넓은 지역과 연령을 대상으로 다양한 척도와의 타당도 분석 및 유용성 에 관한 연구가 수행되기를 제언한다.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to develop and validate the Adult Temperament Inventory (ATI), which analyzes the temperamental stability and individual differences of Korean adults. Methods: Based on a literature review on temperament scales, this study first generated 9 factors and 84 items from a preliminary study. Through a pilot study, 246 adults aged between 20 and 69 were surveyed, resulting in the development of the scale, comprising 8 factors and 43 items. The factors developed included Active level, Adaptability, Approach-withdrawal, Negative mood, Intensity of reaction, Threshold of responsiveness, Rhythmicity of regularity, and Persistence and attention span. This research then surveyed 670 adults nationwide, aged 20 to 69, to test and refine the scale. Data gathered from the questionnaires were analyzed using SPSS 25.0 and AMOS 22.0, conducting a descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis, exploratory factor analysis, and confirmatory factor analysis. Results: The analyses confirmed the eight-factor structure, and the items showed acceptable factor loadings and internal consistency within sub-factors. The construct validity was also satisfactory, with acceptable levels of convergent and discriminant validity. Lastly, the criterion validity was confirmed by the results of concurrent and predictive validity tests through a correlation analysis between ATI and TCI-RS, and ATI and ASR. Conclusions: The ATI developed in this study was found to be valid and reliable. Further studies are required to secure further evidence for concurrent validities and scale utilities, testing various regions and age groups.
