Abstract

The rapid development of artificial intelligence(AI) technology is bringing about innovation across all sectors of society. However, it also introduces new moral problems and ethical dilemmas. Regarding fairness, various issues and risks such as AI technology's bias and discrimination, lack of transparency and explainability, absence of accountability, restricted access and unequal distribution, privacy infringement, and data misuse are increasingly challenging to overlook, necessitating urgent efforts for problem-solving and risk prevention. To enhance the morality and ethical awareness of society members, technical, policy, and social approaches are required alongside research and educational responses. Research aimed at improving morality and ethical awareness in the AI transition era should encompass areas such as AI ethics and philosophical studies, legal and institutional research, research on social consensus and policy development, studies on educational and awareness improvement strategies, empirical case studies, and empirical analysis. Research agendas can include the development of AI ethics principles and guidelines, the creation of morality and ethical awareness evaluation indicators, and the exploration of policy proposals and institutional improvement measures .Furthermore, based on the three basic principles and ten core requirements of AI ethics standards, the development direction and themes for educational content should be set. This involves utilizing various educational methods and media education while striving for program evaluation and improvement. On the foundation of balanced and harmonious practice in research and education for enhancing human morality and ethical awareness, comprehensive control over AI technology and the realization of a human-AI ensemble society will be achieved.
