미래 육군의 전투개념 혁신에 관한 연구 : 4차 산업혁명에 따른 전투개념 변화를 중심으로

본 연구는 4차 산업혁명이 전투개념에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고 첨단과학기술을 접목한 미래 육군의 전투 개념 정립에 관한 단초를 제공하는 것에 목적이 있다. 이를 위해본고에서는 ‘전투개념’은 시대 상황에 따라 끊임없이 진화하지만, 그 본질적 속성으로서 ‘선견(先見)-선결(先決)-선타(先打)’에 관한 전투 개념은 전승의 요체로서 불변(不變)의 요소라는 점에 주목하였다. 그리하여 전투개념과 관련된 기존의 군사이론에대해 선행연구를 검토하고, 과거의 전승(戰勝) 사례에 대해 전투개념의 관점에서 접근하여 분석함으로써 시대적인 군사현대화 추세를 반영하는 한국형 전투개념 혁신(안)에관해 구상하여 제시하였다. 본고에서는 연구에 따른 시사점으로서 첨단과학기술이 전투개념에 미치는 영향과 미래 육군의 새로운 전투개념을 제시하기 위해 육군의 군사전략을 능력에 기초한 적극적ㆍ공세적 군사전략의 필요성과 더불어 첨단과학기술 기반의 융·복합 전투개념을 제시하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to re-concept the future battle of the Army, which combines the effects of advanced technology on the concept of combat, and reveal its influence on the ROK Army. For the purpose, this paper focused on the fact that the essential characteristics of combat have been sustained although the concept of combat has been changeable. As a methodology, this paper examined some theories on combat concept and tried case analysis about the military of Mongolia, England, and U.S.A. in order to suggest the proposal on ROKA Combat Concept. As a suggestive point, this study presents the impact of advanced technology on the concept of combat and the concept of battle of the future Army incorporating the advanced technology.
