시진핑 집권초기 중국외교담화 생산메카니즘과 내용분석: 『談治國理政』(第1券, 英文版)의 토픽과 네트워크 분석

본 연구는 특별히 중국 시진핑 정권 하에서 제시된 국제질서와 관련된 주요 외교담화를 중국의 강대국화 과정에서 중국공산당이 목표로 하는 국제질서와 연관지어 분석하고자 하였다. 그리고 이러한 목표를 달성하기 위해 시진핑 집권초기 외교정책의 큰 크림을 잡아가는 과정에서 미국과의 경쟁 속에서 어떤 요소를 중심으로 국제사회에 자신의 의도를 전달하고 있는지를 파악하고자 했다. 시진핑 집권초기 외교담화 분석은 시진핑 외교정책 전반을 이해할 수 있는 통로이다. 중국이 강대국화 목표를 실현하기 위해 가장 중시하는 행위는 무엇인지를 제시하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 시진핑 연설문의 초기연설문을 모아 둔 『談治國理政』(第1券, 英文版)에서의 외교관련 15개의 연설문을 분석대상으로 삼아 사용된 단어와 주제를 정량적 방법을 통해 분석한다. 비록 특정 시점의 담론만을 반영한 분석이라는 시진핑 집권 전 시기를 관통한다고는 할 수 없으나 집권 초기의 외교목표, 대국외교, 주변국 외교 등과 관련된 담화 속에서 시진핑 집권 초기 중국외교정책의 특징을 규명하고자 하였다.
Abstract
This study specifically sought to analyze the major diplomatic rhetoric related to the international order presented under the Xi Jinping regime in relation to the international order targeted by the Communist Party of China in the process of becoming a great power in China. In order to achieve this goal, this paper tried to understand what factors it was focusing on in the competition with the U.S. in the process of capturing the big cream of Xi Jinping's early foreign policy. Through an analysis of diplomatic rhetoric in the early days of Xi Jinping's regime, it was intended to suggest what actions China values most to realize its goal of becoming a powerful state. Only the discourse at a particular point in time was reflected because it was a study through quantitative methods based on a particular text(Xi Jinping's speech). Therefore, it cannot be said that it penetrates all periods of Xi Jinping's presidency. Through these statements in the early days of Xi Jinping's regime, we can clearly understand what Chinese diplomacy emphasized and what it aimed at.
