Abstract
It has been ages since “Creativity” in legal education has been acknowledged as an essential quality of the lawyers to be developed by an education. But in fact, “Laws” has been considered to have a long way from “Creativity” and it would be regarded as such for a while. Keen interests and focusing on the creativity and its education have already been started long time ago, but been thoroughly turned away from the field of legal education itself. Although strong emphasis has been placed on the necessity of the creativity education under the expression of “Efficient settlement of complicated disputes” in ENFORCEMENT DECREE OF THE ACT ON THE ESTABLISHMENT AND OPERATION OF LAW SCHOOL, any such research or education in domestic law schools are hard to be found. It seems that domestic law schools descended as to become a private educational institute to pass a bar exam although they are opened under the goal of an improvement of the legal education with the change of the times and it seems that it can be also applied even to other colleges without the law school. Along with the complexity of the variety, pace and intensity of the social changes are more than before, it can be regarded that dispute resolution by the conventional laws and system seems unsatisfactory and public demand to provide creative legal solutions can be increased. In this regard, it should be noted that the research on creativity in the field of legal education is the most urgent and demanding issue not to be delayed any more.
