Abstract

This article focuses on the improvement of correctional education as a fundamental solution to the problem of increasing juvenile delinquency. The purpose of this article is to reevaluate the educational functions of the Juvenile Classification Review Center and to improve the education program based on the educational experience of juveniles. The Juvenile Classification Review Center play the role that help to accurately diagnose the causes of juvenile delinquency in its early stages and provides the right treatment appropriate for the characteristics of individual juveniles. As the core function of Juvenile Classification Review Center is the diagnosis function, it should be the education using the diagnosis result. As a pre-disposition decision, it is necessary to have discrimination and uniqueness from other juvenile training institutions as it targets all the juveniles who are scheduled for various dispositions. And this education should be connected with education after decision of disposal. In this form of education, this article presented a program to "restore the subjectivity through correct consciousness formation”. The most fundamental corrective education for juvenile offenders is to help the boy grow into a self-centered person by controlling and overcoming his own factors of flight through proper consciousness. Therefore, the education program should be formulated in the direction of strengthening social ties by allowing boys to participate in the curriculum, strengthening self-control based on their understanding of themselves, and building healthy relationships by cultivating empathy and expressive ability do.
