식품안보 측정에 관한 실증적 연구: 2012 GFSI 모형검증을 중심으로

본 연구의 목적은 2012년 7월에 발표된 EIU GFSI에 초점을 맞춰 타당도 및 신뢰도를 분석하여 문제점을 도출하고 개선방안을 검토하고자 한다. 2012 GFSI의 구성개념타당성 분석결과에서 2012 GFSI의 요인인 제공성, 가용성, 품질 및 안전성의 구성개념타당성, 기준타당성이 낮게 나타나고 있다. 또한 2012 GFSI 모형검증을 위한 고차요인분석결과에서 2012 GFSI 모형적합도가 낮게 나타나고 있고 측정모형 평가에서 제공성의 측정지표인 총가계지출대비식품소비율, 세계빈곤선근접/이하인구비율, 농업수입관세, 가용성의 측정지표인 공급충분성, 농업 R&D공공지출, 농업변동성, 정치적 안정위험, 품질 및 안전성의 측정지표인 영양다양성, 영양 기준증가 정부노력, 미량영양 유효성, 식품안전 등의 측정오차가 높게 나타나고 있어 2012 GFSI 모형과 자료가 잘 부합되지 않음을 보여주고 있다. 이러한 분석결과를 기초로 본 연구는 향후 보다 개선된 GFSI 개발을 위한 고려사항을 검토한다.
Abstract
The purposes of this study are to examine the validity and reliability of the 2012 EIU GFSI and to make suggestions for improving the GFSI. The confirmatory factor analyses reveal that the constructs of affordability, availability, and quality & safety have low convergent, discriminant and criteria-related validity. The higher order factor analyses indicate that the fit indices of the GGI model are low. In the measurement model, food consumption as a share of household expenditure, proportion of population under the global poverty line, agricultural import tariff, sufficiency of supply, public expenditure on agricultural R&D, volatility of agricultural production, political stability risk, diet diversification, nutritional standards, micronutrient availability, and food safety have high measurement errors. The results suggest a bad fit to the data. Based on these findings, this study discusses some considerations to improve the GFSI.
