유럽 치유농업 사례연구 : 6차 산업화와 다기능 농업 중심으로

Abstract

This study is a study on care farming, which has been a lot of discussion recently. Recently, support for care farming has been accelerating in Korea, and it is being introduced as a part of the 6th industrialization through the media. However, this study started from a question about the relationship between care farming and the 6th industrialization developed in Europe where there is no concept of the 6th industry. The concept and characteristics of care farming, 6th industrialization, and multi-functional agriculture are reviewed, and the relationship between 6th industrialization and care farming is investigated by analyzing European cases. The research results and implications can be divided into three categories. First, the 6th industrialization and multifunctional agriculture are showing similarities and differences at the same time. What they have in common is that they increase economic benefits through the diversification and multi-functionality of agriculture. The difference is that while the 6th industrialization focuses on the economic aspect, multi-functional agriculture is viewed as important in both economic, social and environmental aspects. Second, care farming cannot be said to be the perfect 6th industrialization. As a result of the European case analysis, some cases of care farming can be regarded as the 6th industrialization, but the rest of the cases cannot be called the 6th industrialization. This is because the rest of the cases show a greater social welfare character than an increase in profits. Lastly, care farming needs to be fostered as a new industry through convergence with other industries. care farming has a positive effect on people living in cities as well as in rural areas, so it is expected to foster new industries in the mid- to long-term.
