본 논문은 하이데거 철학에서 대화의 본질이란 무엇인지를 살펴보고, 이것이함축하고 있는 바를 드러내는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 우선 하이데거 철학에서대화의 본질을 사유할 수 있는 기반을 살펴보고, 대화의 본질이 들음에 있다는 것을해명할 것이다. 대화의문제는많은학자들에의해 타자, 소통, 상담, 교육의문제와 관련하여 다루어져왔다. 사실 이런 상황에서, 하이데거 철학에서 대화의 본질을 사유하는 것은 무의미한 것으로 여겨질 수도 있다. 왜냐하면 하이데거 철학에서는 대화적 사고가 발견될 뿐, 그는 대화철학이 다루고 있는 문제를 다루지 않았기 때문이다. 그러나 하이데거철학에서 논의되는 대화는 상호 주관적인 관계에서 일어나는 대화와 무관한 것이 아니다. 그가 말하는 대화는 우리의 일상적 대화의 근저에서 항상 일어나고 있는 것이다. 사실상, 이러한 대화가 본래적인 방식으로 이루어질 때, 우리는 보다 더 잘 의사소통할 수 있다. 이러한 사실은 그의 철학속에서 사유된 대화의 본질이 대화철학적인 논의에 있어서도 유의미할 것이라는것을 보여준다.
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to see what the essence of conversation is in Heidegger’s philosophy and to clarify its meaning. To that end, I will first look at the basis for thinking about the essence of conversation in Heidegger’s philosophy. Then I will explain that the essence of conversation is listening. The discussion about conversation has been addressed by many scholars in relation to the Other, communication, counseling and education. In this situation, it may be considered meaningless to discuss the essence of conversation inHeidegger’s philosophy. Because in Heidegger’s philosophy, only dialogic thinking is discovered. Heidegger didn’t explain the problem addressed by the philosophy of dialogue. However, conversation discussed in Heidegger’s philosophy is not unrelated to conversation that occur in a mutual subjective relationship. The conversation he says lie always at the root of our everyday conversation. In fact, when such conversation take place in the original way, we can communicate better. This fact shows that the essence of conversation dealt with in his philosophy will be significant in discussions in the philosophy of dialogue.
