초록
Dance is a sophisticated art behavior into which the dancer's spirits and thought are projected, and dance coding is not only to inform the shape of dance motion but makes the dancer's spirits and thought revealed. The sign of ‘dance’ that is used a lot in Jeong Hyeon-jong's poetry represents the poet's poetic world and what he sought after, since it can be said to be a symbol of his poetic consciousness. In his poetry, ‘feet’ represents a divergent and transcendental will through dancing, which is behavior of ascent. The poet paid attention to ‘a wing’ that visualized soaring as an alternative image to ‘the limits of the ground’ that were found in the process of developing ‘walking’ into ‘jumping’ and ‘dancing.’ The semiotic action that makes ‘feet’ and ‘dance’ the same makes it possible to look into the psychological relationship between a vertical transcendental will to ‘jump’ and ascent. The poet tried to seek after a new form of transcendence when he was frustrated due to human limits, and the dancer expresses his desire in a creative way. So the climax of dance that the dancer reaches by overcoming the human limits can be called ‘the flower of pain.’ The poet paradoxically thought that enduring pain and taking advantage of painful tears as nutrients are the very driving force of life that is like water. Dance that is to purify one's soul and help him or her overcome hurt and pain is the very ‘life’ and sign that can be revealed through the body.
