This paper was written in order to offer basic data on Korean Buddhism in Mexico not only for the national and foreign scholars of Latin American studies but also for the national buddhist scholars. The census for this paper is based on the "Cultural Diamond" of Wendy Griswold but with the point of view of the "Interculturalism". It means that this paper was written to explain how the Korean Buddhism had been adapted and assimilated in the Mexican society as a minority religion. Surely, it also offers basic ideas about how the Korean Buddhism should be treated as a "cultural object" by Korean buddhists including scholars.
Abstract
