스페인 문학에서 로만세 진화 양상

중세 시대에 등장한 로만세는 스페인 대중의 일반적인 정서에 부응한 익명의 집 단적 협력으로 탄생하여 후기 문학 작품에 많은 영향을 미치며 놀라운 생명력으로 지속한다. 그 로만세에 등장하는 캐릭터들을 비교 대상의 모델로 삼기도 하고, 운율 구조와 구전 시의 특징, 즉 문체를 모방하기도 하며, 암시, 주석, 영감 또는 패러디 의 소재로 사용되어왔다. 스페인 문학 텍스트를 제대로 이해하려면 이러한 요소들 을 연구해야 할 것이다. 따라서 본 연구는 16세기부터 현재에 이르기까지 스페인 문학에서 구 로만세가 어떻게 진화되었는지를, 후안 델 엔시나의 로만세, 세풀베다 의 ‘박식한 로만세’, 공고라의 ‘예술적 로만세’, 세르반테스의 『돈키호테』 그리고 로 르카의 『집시 로만세로』 등을 통해서 살펴본다.
Abstract
The old romance born in the Middle Ages, by anonymous and collective collaboration, which responded to the general feeling of the country, leaves deep traces in the later literary works of Spain, lasting with surprising vitality. The characters that appeared in those romances are taken as a model. Or there are quotes, allusions, references to fragments, glosses, inspiration or parody, in addition to its metric structure and its character of oral poetry. To get a better understanding of literary texts, we have to resort to such traces. That means investigating the evolutionary progress or the use of the old romances in later literary works of Spain, as in the romance of Juan del Encina and in the erudite romance of Sepulveda and in the artistic romance of Góngora and in Don Quixote of Cervantes and in Gypsy Ballads of Federico García Lorca. Therefore, the present work consists of seeing how the old romance has evolved and been used through the literary texts of Spain from the 16th century to the present.
