인공지능(AI) 기술의 빠른 발전은 교육 분야 전반에 걸쳐 지대한 변화를 불러 일으키고 있다. 특히 언어 교육 분야는 거대언어모델과 기계번역 시스템의 발전으로새로운 도전에 직면하고 있다. AI 기술의 도입은 외국어 교수와 학습 전략의 재평가를 요구한다. 이 연구에서는 챗GPT, DeepL 번역 서비스와 같은 AI 도구가 한국인 학습자의 스페인어 작문 지도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 한다. 이 기술들이스페인어 학습자에게 복잡한 언어의 구조를 이해하는데 도움을 줄 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 언어적 뉘앙스와 문화적 맥락을 포착하여 창의적 작문 능력을 향상시키는데기여할 수 있는 방법들을 검토하고자 한다. 또한, AI 주도 학습이 어떻게 대학에서전공으로서의 스페인어 작문 교육을 혁신할 수 있는지에 관해 논의하고자 한다.
Abstract
The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence(AI) technology brings significant changes across the field of education. Language education, in particular, faces new challenges due to the development of Large Language Models and machine translation systems. The adoption of AI technologies calls for a reevaluation of foreign language teaching and learning strategies. This study aims to explore the impact of AI tools, such as ChatGPT and the DeepL translation service, on the instruction of Spanish composition for Korean learners. These technologies not only help learners of Spanish understand the complex structures of language but also improve their creative writing skills by capturing linguistic nuances and cultural contexts. Furthermore, this research discusses how AI-driven learning can innovate university-level Spanish composition education as a major.
