스마트교육 연구 동향 분석: 언어네트워크 분석방법의 적용

이 연구는 최근에 이슈가 되고 있는 스마트교육의 개념을 이해하고 연구의 동향을 살피는 것을 목표로 하였다. 이를 위하여 학술연구정보서비스(RISS)에서 ‘스마트교육’으로 키워드를 입력하여 2003년부터 2012년까지 산출된 자료 393개의 자료 중 교육관련 학회지로 자료를 한정하여 추출된 196개의 자료를 대상으로 언어네트워크분석을 실시하였고 이를 NetDraw 프로그램을 이용하여 이미지로 나타내었다. 이를 통하여 다음과 같은 연구결과를 얻을 수 있다. 첫째, 스마트교육은 다른 유사한 개념의 연장선상에 있다. 그러나 이러닝, 사이버러닝, 유러닝 등의 다른 개념들과는 달리 스마트교육의 고유한 특성은 스마트디바이스의 휴대성에서 발견할 수 있었다. 둘째, 스마트교육의 연구 분야가 상대적으로 편파적으로 이루어지고 있었다. 즉 스마트교육은 사회과학과 기술과학 쪽에서 상대적으로 많은 연구가 이루어지고 있었다. 셋째, 정부가 스마트교육 추진 전략을 세운 2011년부터 급격한 연구가 진행되었지만 추진 전략의 핵심인 디지털교과서에 대한 관심과 연구 성과가 상대적으로 미진한 모습을 보였다. 넷째, 스마트교육은 교육학의 범주를 벗어난 여러분야로 확장 가능성이 있다. 스마트교육은 기존의 ICT 교육과 달리 학습자가 지식을 창출하고 공유하는 장을 마련하였다고 할 수 있다. 이에 여러 다양한 분야에서 연구가 이루어져 할 것이다. 뿐만 아니라 스마트교육에서 중요한 위치를 차지하는 스마트디바이스의 안정적 운용을 위하여 교과적인 측면에서 벗어난 교수환경 이외의 측면 이를테면 보안관련 연구 및 법적, 제도적 연구가 후행되어야 할 것이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the concept of the smart education as well as the tendencies of the smart education's research field. In order to carry out this purpose, I searched for each title of papers with typed the keyword 'the smart education' from 2003 to 2012 on RISS, limiting these all conducted data into the extent of the educational field, and then applying them to the semantic network analysis by using the KrKwic program. Finally, I used NetDraw program so as to showing the image of some networks. The study conducts some outcomes. First, smart education is on the extension to the other similar concepts such as e-learning, u-learning, cyber learning, and so forth. In spite of this fact, there is only a smart education's particular feature. That is what it can have actively been accepted on the nature of the smart device's portability. Second, the smart education's research field is being studied partially among various academic fields. Smart education has relatively much been studied mainly on both social science and technology science. Third, although smart education has been increasingly studied since 2011 when Korea Ministry of Education appointed the digital textbook as a core of a smart education field, digital textbook's studies are not much more than others. Fourth, smart education has the possibility of extending to the various academic fields over pedagogy. Different from the existing ICT education types, it is surely said that Smart education has been exploring the new place where students can create a lot of new knowledge as well as share them. Therefore, we do develop the reason and the way to secure the personal information and run and operate a smart education in terms of both legal and society system.
