Chinese Sanzhai Culture has many unique and interesting characteristics. On the one hand, most studies tend to regard it simply as fake, expressing little trust on various imitation commodities produced in China. On the other hand, the Sanzhai Culture is examined mainly in economic terms and hence negatively evaluated because it violates the intellectual property right of original producers and causes economic damage to them. These critical views are, of course, forceful as well as persuasive. However, this study aims to pay much attention to the positive sides (such as creativity, resistance, and healthiness) of the Sanzhai Culture rather than the negative ones. The Sanzhai Culture as long historical traditions has not only shown the creative skill of Chinese but also expressed their resistant challenge to the mainstream culture.
