본 논문은 과학기술에 대한 마르크스와 마르크스주의 이론의 연구성과들에 입각하여 과학기술의 역사를 개관하고, 오늘날의 과학기술이 자본주의의 현재와 미래에어떤 의미를 갖는지 살펴본다. 과학기술혁명은 생산력의 비약적인 발전과 노동시간의 단축을 통해 인류가 아직 한 번도 도달한 적이 없는 새로운 단계의 사회로 도약할 수 있는 가능성을 창출했다. 그러나 이러한 가능성의 전면적인 실현은 생산수단의 사적 소유에 기초한 자본주의적 생산체제와 정면으로 충돌하고 있다. 따라서 자본주의적 생산관계를 폐지하고 새로운 사회관계를 수립함으로써 과학기술혁명의물질적 토대 및 결과들을 사회화하고 인류의 복지 향상과 인간의 전인적 개발이라는 의식적인 과제를 지향하는 것이 점점 더 필요해지고 있다.
Abstract
In this paper, we outline the history of scientific technology and consider the meaning of contemporary scientific technology to the present and the future of capitalism, in view of the achievements of Marx and Marxist theories. Through the tremendous development of productive power and reduction of labor time,scientific technology revolution create the possibility for the human being to jump up to the new stage of society which has never been achieved before. But the full realization of this possibility is in direct collision with the capitalist production system which is based on the private ownership of means of production. Therefore, it becomes more and more necessary, by the abolition of capitalist relations of production and the establishment of new social relations,to socialize the material foundations and results of scientific technology revolution and to consciously pursue the task of upgrading the welfare of human beings and full development of each individual.
