外资银行进入对中国银行业稳定性的影响

Abstract

On December 11, 2006, the Chinese government to fulfill a commitment, after China's banking industry comprehensive opening to the outside world, most of the original business scope for Foreign Banks operating region and limitations were phased out, the speed of Foreign Banks into China's financial market has quickened significantly, at the same time, Foreign Banks through equity and merger and acquisition of Chinese bank shares. After the baptism of the global financial crisis in 2008, many Foreign Banks have taken place in consolidation, pattern has changed a lot, so, impact on the stability of China's banking sector will also have change. Then, with the foreign Banks to enter, study foreign Banks to enter the Chinese banking sector stability will produce what kind of impact is particularly important. This paper selects the 2000-2013 China 13 representative five state-owned commercial Banks and eight joint-stock commercial Banks of panel data to empirical analysis, panel data model is set up, to Foreign Banks entering make an empirical analysis of the impact on China's banking sector stability. From the empirical analysis results, Foreign Banks entering has a positive influence on the stability of China's banking sector, the stability of China's banking sector are not under shock and become fragile, but has increased. Although, Foreign Banks enter the impact on state-owned commercial Banks and joint-stock commercial Banks are different, but overall basic promoted the improvement of China's banking sector stability.
